Mark is a marketing analyst on the Mass Market team, focusing primarily on customer communications and reputation management. In this role in particular, he’s worked hard to improve Energy Harbor’s Google Reviews score from a 3.8 to a 4.4/5 stars – which according to a study by the Spiegel Research Center falls within the ideal ratings range. Businesses with star ratings between 4.2 – 4.5 are considered the “most trusted.”


Mark’s had quite a diverse career in digital marketing mostly at agencies and startups in other industries, but entered the energy space with Energy Harbor in mid-2021. Mark is pretty passionate about sustainability, so Energy Harbor is a great fit:


“I think it is important to leave the planet a better place than when I got here,” says Mark. “Carbon Free energy is a great way to help our planet while helping our customers!”


Mark has a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Akron and a Certificate in Economics from Harvard. Beyond his work at Energy Harbor, Mark creates his own music and runs his own special even DJ service called Lovely Night Entertainment.


 “I have always had a love for music. Back in high school my friends and I would always hang out and search for new bands and artists. Fast forward to college, one of those friends asked me if I would be interested in DJing weddings and I said ‘yes’ with no hesitation. After college I decided I was done with DJing. But after a few years, I had the itch to DJ again, so I decided to start my own business. In my first year, I have about 50 events and I’m training DJs!”
